GrandStay Hotel & Suites, hotel in Cannon Falls

The location was quiet. The others in our hallway were really quiet and there was no noise from outside either. Breakfast had a great selection of options. Only thing that was missing was a pitcher of ice water.

Cannon Falls is a small south eastern Minnesota t town. One stop light. One street with shops. BUT....A winery. A brewery. A great start to a beautiful biking trail. Great food options. A good location for a short vacation.

The best thing about Cannon Falls is the presence of a new looking Mayo Clinic Health Facility including an emergency Room with helipad to get people to help quickly. The town itself is very strange. No Main Street that I found. Businesses here and there throughout the countryside. Mostly warehouse looking buildings some of which might be used for some type of business others obviously no longer in use. Pretty sad place although pretty countryside with rolling hills and lots of trees. I ate at Subway. There are numerous roundabouts to move from one road to another. My favorite spot was Dairy Queen!
